Important Notes and Updates:

[1] Use of a table of physics equations and constants.

According to USAD, students will not be able to use a table of physics
equations and constants when taking the science competition tests. USAD
will be posting this statement on the USAD website so all coaches and
students can be made aware of this policy for the 2011-12 science tests.

[2] CAD now has Facebook and Twitter.

The California Academic Decathlon is catching up with the viral pulse of
social networking and have recently updated/signed up for a Facebook and Twitter account.
Please share this with everyone that would like to be connected to the
 Academic Decathlon culture in California.
For Facebook, go to California Academic Decathlon at
https://www.facebook.com/ken.scarberry#!/pages/California-Academic-Decathlon/218618944850968
For Twitter, go to calacadeca.
The great thing about both social medias is that they are connected. So, if
you post something great on Facebook - it will automatically get posted to
 CAD's Twitter Account.
So, now our coaches and decathletes have an opportunity to get connected and
share what's happening throughout California (including activities in
 various schools and counties)!

I'm hapy to announce the release of our signature Power Guides; special thanks go to Sophy Lee, this year's editor, and to authors Is
